$50.00 was spent after locating nummies on Ebay. I am ashamed. Em will be happy (watch, right after they come she says "but I am a big girl, I don't need nummies anymore." ugh!)
I am trying to decide what to do for her birthday. Her THIRD birthday. It's a big one. She says she wants a pink one. But then she also tells me another time, she wants something entirely different, so really she has been no help.
I was thinking of getting her a budgie bird for her birthday, but she doesn't seem to enthusiastic about that idea. So then I thought, maybe I would take her to see O'Donel's production of the Wizard of Oz because she LOVES her some "Dortay." When I went to look up the ticket information and what not's for the show, I also found that the Wunderbolt Circus will be here. Now I am hard pressed to decide between the two.
Which would she like more?

Sunday Stealing Starrlight meme, in other words .. tired!
1. What was the last thing you put in your mouth? Halls cough drop. Ugh.
2. Where was your profile picture taken? Haven't got one uploaded, but usually they are of Em and can be taken just about anywhere.
3. Can you play Guitar Hero? Yes.
4. Name someone who made you laugh today. What was it about? Em. Picking out her own clothes and choosing a old jumper I bought for her niece back when I was university. It is size 12 months, then pairing it with her silver Hannah Montana belt. AWESOME! The jumper is bright red.
5. How late did you stay up last night and why? 2:00am. I was watching Yes Man. Falling asleep and gave up at 2. It was not worth it any longer.
6. If you could move somewhere else where would you and why? To a house of my own. With no other people. Where I could have hardwood floors in the main rooms but carpet in bedrooms. Where I could have things as I want. But alas that is a dream for yet another while I am sure. No use to complain.
7. Ever been kissed under fireworks? Probably.
8. Which of your friends lives closest to you? I have no friends :/ (hehe)
9. Do you believe ex's can be friends? With benefits? Friends, yes. With benefits ... umm
10. Do you like Dr. Pepper? no.
11. When was the last time you cried really hard? Really hard as opposed to just sniveling? When Em was really sick a month or so ago. I felt terrible. It showed.
12. Who took your profile picture? Me most likely. IF there was one.
13. Who was the last person you took a picture of? Em in the van after ballet.
14. Was yesterday better than today? Why? today is still new. Most days are alike for the most part. Same stuff on a different day.
15. Can you live a day without TV? Yes I certainly can.
16. Are you upset about anything now? Not at the moment. Ask me again in an hour.
17. Do you think relationships are ever really worth it? Depends on the person, the relationship and why I am questioning whether it is worth it or not.
18. Are you a bad influence? No I do not believe so.
19. Night out or night in? In please.
20. What items could you not go without during the day? Chocolate milk, Pulls up and clean clothes.
21. Who was the last person you visited in the hospital? No one. The last person in hospital was Em and I was with her.
22. What does the last text message in your inbox say? No texting for me.
23. How do you feel about your life right now? It needs improvement. But if it didn't need improvement, what would I be working towards?
24. Do you hate anyone? No.
25. If we were to look in your Facebook inbox, what would we find? A lot of junk with one or two messages worth saving but for the most part, junk.
26. Say you were given a drug test right now, would you pass? Yes. Unless antibotics, ibprofuen or cold & sinus pills would cause me to fail.
27. Has anyone ever called you perfect before? Nope.
28. What song is stuck in your head? There three sad souls, oh me oh my. No brain, no heart, he's much too shy. But never mind you three. Here's the Wizard as you can see. He'll fix that one two three, in the funny place called the world of Oz. Oh the world of Oz is a funny funny place where everyone wears a funny funny face. All the streets are paved in golden and no one ever grows olden. In that funny land lives the Wizard of Oz.
29. Someone knocks on your window at 2 a.m., whom do you want it to be? Nobody. I do not want anybody knocking on my door at 2am.
30. Do you (or did you) want to have grandkids before you’re 50? Grandkids? Umm ... I'd like to see Em grown up first.
31. Tell us your Saturday night. I painted, I played with Em. I tried to watch a movie. I went to sleep. E-X-C-I-T-I-N-G!!!
32. Do you think too much or too little? Too much. Without doubt.
33. Do you smile a lot? A fair amount. :)

Lifes more fun when you raise your arms .. like this
So, the niece and nephew are here running around going crazy. No really they are going crazy. The oldest one (7) is going to a birthday party shortly and the younger one (4) isn't going. It's a school birthday so, you know, thats the way the cake crumbles. Anyhow the two of them were sitting on the floor rolling Em's big ball back and forth when the bigger one keeps the ball. Little one retaliates by biting her. Big one says "well I am not bringing you home a lootbag or anything" and little one flips. Freaks out and screams "But I love those things."
I make the mistake of saying "Boy you guys are mental today" simply just meaning their behaviour is crazy and out of hand (hindsight with my language use always bites me in the end.) I didn't notice Em sitting down having a ball with her Nintendogs game (yep I let my two year old play with a ds, shoot me for being a bad mom later) until she stands up and says "You guys are mental!" I roll my eyes and think great, now look what I did.
All that aside, here are some Friday Felicities ...
1. Em starting Ballet. I have waited two years for this and now it's here.
2. Easily getting Em to take a nap daily by telling her we will party all night :P
3. Watching many different versions of the Wizard of Oz with Em.
4. It is all that much closer to next Thursday (nothing special happens then though go figure)
5. Finding Karen Alloy, because wow! is she hilarious! And an Emmy winner too!

The things they say ...
Yesterday, while I was working on some painting, Em wanted to do some too. Unfortunately, this was rather important work that would not take kindly to her toddler squiggles. I suggested she get some markers and draw, and so off she went. She chose her colours carefully, like any good artist would.
On one such occasion she chose a darkish reddish brown colour and looked it over a few times. Logically, we asked her what the colour was to which she replied "hot dog!"
Now I know Crayola has been coming out with some fabulously named colours (which I think really just must be regular colours given new fancy names) like Inchworm, Atomic Orange and Unmellow Yellow. But hot dog? Yeah that takes the cake.
